For nearly a decade The Community Learning Council, Inc. (CLC) has studied the statistics and dynamics of intimate partner violence and set out to design programs to assist the community (victims of abusive relationships, parents and children, employers, clergy and congregations, even our school systems) with the following programs:
• Choose Success
• Art Therapy for Children Who Have Witnessed/Experienced Domestic Violence
• Oklahoma Employers Against Domestic Violence
• Preventing Teen Dating Violence
• Clergy, Congregations and Communities for Change; Religious Perspectives on Domestic Violence
Our goals are clear and our mission remains: To End Domestic Violence Through Education. The above programs are available to our community.
Please click on the links provided on our website to learn more about these courses and discover ways on how you, your company, your place of worship, your school and association can help end Domestic Violence in Oklahoma.
October is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month; however,
the CLC’s position remains clear:
Domestic Violence, it’s not just a cause; It’s a CRIME.
The Community Learning Council, Inc. is an IRS recognized
non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Your donations and involvement
are necessary if our goal is to be achieved.
Thank you for your support and voice to end domestic violence in Oklahoma.
Sincerely,
Board of Directors, Community Learning Council, Inc.,
